The Guardian's Assessment - From nowhere to the Premier League

Not *any* Palace fan as i work/know 3 Palace fans who are mates were disappointed he left especially as he kept banging em in last season.

The Guardian's Assessment - From nowhere to the Premier League

No. Its lovely up there. As for Murray I agree with you about being our sole striker and relying on him for a full season. What i disagree is the argument that he's "not up to it". I believe he can play a role. Whether up the arse or out of the arse.

The Guardian's Assessment - From nowhere to the Premier League

If the club say they're looking for another striker which clearly they are (see the pursuit of Abraham, and all reporting) then why the doubt over whether he will be our main or only centre forward. The Guardian's Assessment - From nowhere to the Premier League

I'm sure Palace/Bournemouth fans didn't mind this FACT when he popped up to score for them against Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool, West Ham and Chelsea etc

The Guardian's Assessment - From nowhere to the Premier League

Murray has made 52 appearances in the Prem. He's also scored against Man City last 2 times he's played against em. So not "completely unproven"

The Guardian's Assessment - From nowhere to the Premier League

He says he hates doing it but thats normally where the club do their best business. Knockaert, Ulloa, Stephens, Sidwell, Upson, Kayal, Tomori, Murray etc.
