Woeful season, but potentially invaluable lessons learned for the future?

PS don't need to ask me anyway as club in form of Barber and Bloom have already effectively said yes to 1) , will skirt around 2) presumably for contractual reasons but given we've avoided relegation now then it's a moot point, and bleeding obvious that 3) "a squad that could compete for the...

To follow the albion for 40 years then probably the latter.

Actually their ST prices are going up in 15/16, despite 75m of Sky/Bt money and then their cheapest are being reduced in 16/17 when they move to a stadium built by public money and their projected TV income will be 20x that of the Albion. No word yet on other prices. They might be on the Champ...

Ticket prices are frozen or reduced this season. He never says "we will" get in the top 6. He says he's stumped up the cash for a squad "who could". We do invest as much as other many other clubs(without parachute payments). Certainly more than our position in league would indicate.

Of course not. Just teasing. Deserve a ribbing anyhow sometimes for my relentless **** licking as some kind soul put it earlier.

he actually said this to the Argus but also similar things in public forums, radio interviews at the time. "As I say at the start of every season, we are trying to build a squad which has got the potential for getting promoted. ..that is our No.1 goal this season and I certainly think we have...

I'm ok being outed by Tom Hark, Preston Park as having the skills of a inept Iraqi propagandist but being accused of beng a club employee is a really low blow. PS: my job details are on my NSC About page ...

So in your view we should have matched the Burnley offer ?

Woeful season, but potentially invaluable lessons learned for the future?

Its entirely believable. We agreed a fee (finally) with Wolves for Ward and he'd agreed a contract. No other Champ club were in for him. Then Burnley right at the death, came in and offered him a Premier League contract (average Champ wage 8-10K, average Prem wage 30/40K) which would have set...

Woeful season, but potentially invaluable lessons learned for the future?

The budget isn't the same. Its bigger than 2013/4 and 2012/13. Tony Bloom has said that in public several times this season. And Paul Barber confirmed it last week. Fine if you don't want to believe it . Many fans don't .But the club have to publish their accounts so we'll see if that isn't the...

    1) All Championship Clubs sell their prized assets. Nearly all Champ clubs make a healthy average profit from selling players. So you can get away with it. 2) The recruitment team didn't have a lower budget.
