I didn't make myself clear - it was the reference to 'the too for school knockers' as if people are only expressing negativity towards Bono and U2 as part of keeping up some sort of image rather than becaus ethey just don't like them. Coldplay fans do the same thing, funnily enough.

I don't remember |Bono as an entity distinct from his band before 'The Joshua Tree' came out so it must have been about then :thumbsup: Still love the Pet Shop Boys version of 'Where The Streets Have No Name' though...
