Going back to this thread after a couple of months I have to report that I saw a band called "King King" supporting John Mayall at the Hawth on Wednesday. They are a superb band (as are John Mayall's Bluesbreakers) and are, I believe, playing at Worthing next year. They are well worth seeing

Cant believe nobody has mentioned the fabulous Roy Buchanan ! Sonny Landreth,the late Michael Burks, Tommy Castro, the late Stevie ray Vaughan (there's a box set of all his albums coming out next month for about £47) are all good. Chris Rea produced an outstanding album set called Blue Guitars...
