Very true... but it is about form.
I think they are both capable and both have a legitimate case for being the keeper.
In many ways Foakes has been unlucky, probably didn’t score enough runs last summer to push his way into the line up, especially under Bayliss who clearly preferred Buttlers...
Foakes didn’t have the best summer with the bat last year, think he averaged something mid 20s so at a time when England’s batting line up has been fragile to say the least I think that’s why Buttler has kept his place.
