as we see in the Newcastle game, problem is as much inept or corrupt officials using the VAR, who cant see whats right in front of them. so why bother with the delays?
only if they attach gps transponders on the armpits, knee foot, head etc. you're focusing on offside, and the problems there are with the rules.
edit. ah, unless the point is to use their GPS position to determine offside. that could be quite sensible. we need to change the rule eitherway so...
well of course, we aren't go to compain where it applies and works. the largest problem isnt that it still gets a few wrong, its that it takes so long to get there either way.
and the offside reviews are sucking the life out of the game.
needs to establish what it wants to be. is it forensic analysis and correction of every error by the ref, or to pick up obvious things the ref missed and should look at again.
if the former, well get rid, thats a shite idea.
