it seems like a good idea if tied to a deposit scheme. as it is, looks like a knee jerk popularism which doesnt address real problems, just raise another tax. why arent other cups (such as in office), cartons, bottle tops, sandwich packaging, and so on being highlighted? 25p tax on its own...
