firstly, thats hardly a high bar to reach, and secondly the reference was to investmet in the playing side. yes we have spent money and i dont think spending was the problem last season. just highlighting that the list of signings doesn't equate to a massive investment in the playing squad.

i'd say the number of times "loan" pops up in that list shows a lack of "investment", a fair bit of making do.

thats what i thought. and what do they know about Hotels, they've had enough problems with the catering. then it occured to me that they wouldnt be dropping £55m on a whim, there must be a business case with market analysis behind it. that, or its a clever way to feed money in from an outside...
