50 over game used to be great here. Now it is played by 2nd teams while our internationals give priority to making money in the stupid hundred competition.

20/20 game has ruined anything but that version in WIs. Will do the same in other countries. Sussex like all counties only push 20/20. I get lots of emails/texts about those games but they refuse to market 4 day game. Doesnt help these are played in April/May and September. Even 50 over...

Appreciate the intentions are good but for years ICC have been throwing money at countries like Holland. All this has done is for them to now afford to get foreign players to represent them in tournaments. This can be seen in latest game against Australia when I think they had 4 South Africans...

I have lived and played cricket in Holland at a decent standard. Whatever money is thrown at it there it will not become mainstream. Shame but Cricket clubs are for the elite and cant see that changing. They are now always after foreign players with distant relatives to put in national side...

Ah thought it may be about money and not about if games would be good contests.

Should not be a problem. Like football tournaments big sides can lose games and still go through to knock outs
