If I worked at a football club I didn't support I wouldn't be overly fussed at what the score was more than having a look at 5pm while looking at all the other scores. Each to their own though.

Where does it say that all employees of the club have to be supporters? Surley most people with an unterest in the game would be at the Amex rather than listening on the radio in a shop? The club even used to employ a PALACE fan in the ticket office.
