Their standard may have improved. Doesn’t mean it’s world class. That Lucy bronze goal where everyone was raving about it. Most keepers would have caught or punched away.

I look at the Wimbledon woman’s matches. And I’d get destroyed by them. I look at the woman’s wold cup and think. I play better football than this.
So no. Your point is silly

My point is. We’re being told it’s outstanding football. When in reality. It isn’t. I enjoyed partz of the World Cup. But right now wouldn’t pay to go to a female game

Were talking standard. Not olympics. You’re missing the point.
We’re being told how great the standard is. How amazing the keepers are. ( some saves have been great, others. Basic ). So when the commentators are shouting what epic saves. Passes. Etc. When in theory. They’re not that good...
Not really a shit arguments though. 16/17 year old boys beat the current woman’s World Cup winners. Proving how awful the standard is. Peoples problem is that there is this constant continual praise for how good the woman’s game is, it isn’t. The standard is poor. People don’t like being lied to...
I never said that. I’m saying keepers are making basic saves and they’re being called wonderful saves. The standard is poor and it’s not called out. Bad passes are hardly being criticised.

Some of the football was good. But again. Some basic stuff is being applauded as glorious football. And basic saves being bigged up so much you’d of though it was Gordon banks save being recreated.

The standard is poor. It’s improving. But it’s still not great. It’s hard when commentators say what a wonderful save it is. When most keepers in county league would catch it.
