Big difference: Albion didn't sack him mid-season. When were we supposed to move on? Wait for him to resign? Wait until the end of his contract (never, ever happens with managers) with a chance we'd be in Championship? Albion is a HUGE investment for Bloom. Can't blame him for wanting a refresh.

Shocked and saddened... but it's the right thing for the club. Happy that Hughton was kept to the end of the season, and doesn't have a relegation on his CV. Onwards and (hopefully) upwards.
