Forest v Albion moved to Monday 11th April - live on Sky

When the club take up *ahem* Andy's great idea, I hope they'll include a coach from London. Victoria Station would be great - thanks.

Forest v Albion moved to Monday 11th April - live on Sky

    Football League documentation suggests otherwise.

Yeah, agree it was an unlikely pick. You were v unlucky. There's obv a difference between a random freebie (free pit & pint) and offering 'compensation' for a match moved (within agreed rules). What if someone has flights/hotel rather than simply train? What if Sky move another match this...

Forest v Albion moved to Monday 11th April - live on Sky

Agree it would be a good gesture. Although I guess they might worry about setting a precedent? Out of interest, when did you book?

You mean Boro? That's because it was just 17 days notice - less than the minimum agreed between the FL and Sky. Anyone else?

There was certainly talk of it being reviewed a year or two back.

Forest v Albion moved to Monday 11th April - live on Sky

Hmmm... not really. In the Premier League, there are just six or so big clubs. We'd fall in the "contractual obligation" category, like Bournemouth this season.

Forest v Albion moved to Monday 11th April - live on Sky

To be honest, no, but I did know it's shorter notice at the end of the season.

Forest v Albion moved to Monday 11th April - live on Sky

Yeah, pants I know. 10-12 matches is too many. That said, can understand Sky wanting to show relevant matches, which the neutral might be interested in, at the business end of the season. No-one is going to watch Bristol City v Brentford...

Forest v Albion moved to Monday 11th April - live on Sky

Not much difference between five and six weeks in the scheme of things. I have sympathy with those who have already booked, of course - and hope they get reimbursed. But I bet most just ignored the prospect that it could be moved with five weeks' notice.

Forest v Albion moved to Monday 11th April - live on Sky

That's 10 then. Plus Albion v Derby and Boro v Albion quite likely. Could be 25%+ of matches.

    There is. It's five weeks.
