This is a very good point. Greer plays a lot better alongside Uwe. Same when he played alongside Upson. Greer/Uwe has to be first choice.

I think we need two midfielders on the bench, Ince has one spot. If Crofts is available then he is the obvious choice, but if not, and with Caskey out on loan, Holla is the only option. (Unless I've missed someone?)

I'm not sure it's as simple as that. Defensive players can effect our attacking play. For instance, Bong may have found times where he could not get forward as he normally would when playing with Uwe. Same applies for Kayal/Stephens. They may have found themselves dropping a little deeper if...
