I don’t attribute the loss to the pitch or return of the Luton hero.
They’re on form (not necessarily just results), with no European fatigue they’re fighting for their lives with 20 ‘cup finals’ and a proper centre midfield. Our CM is so poor compared to last season, Milner/Gross/Lallana edge...
This was the Luton team at the Amex. Easily forgotten because of the final score, first half I remember Adebayo tearing Milner and JPVH apart. @hans kraay fan club might remember that too. Ironically, he finally got rewarded against us tonight.
We haven’t been great in the PL for long periods this season, Forest away, Brentford home and Spurs home the only highlights for months. Wolves, Luton, Arsenal, Villa, Chelsea all took the p@ss, whilst Sheffield U, Fulham, Burnley, West Ham, CP all found ways to frustrate.
Glad to see you back on Albion threads, never a wiser word said.
Bloom plays the long game, a two or three year rebuilding after losing the immemse MacA and Caicedo. Many including myself thought we’d be mid-table team this season with the demands of EL football and our weakened first team...
The Blades are bloody awful.
A centre midfield of Gross-Buonanotte-Gilmour lacks ball winners, power, bite. All our wingers are injured or overseas. We’re not a special PL outfit just now.
West Ham at home was interesting. Estupinan gave up defending from opening whistle, he played the 90 it seemed 70 yards upfield. Moyes couldn’t believe his luck.
Last season’s best LB gave up being a defender. BEFORE they scored.
I’d love to know if that was instructions, or Estupinan was...
Did you watch the second half versus Wolves? We were chaotic, gifted our entire half of the pitch to an unmarked Neto, practiced wooden flicks to imaginary team-mates 20 yards from their goal.
I think that’ll be in his next job with a proper squad, cover in every position, proper strikers in form.
Second half against Wolves I thought we were outclassed and offered little, I sat there cold and bored senseless.
This season, the highs are EL, Pedro, Hinshelwood, Igor, JPVH, Gross and a...
Exactly. A football expert here states that Gilmour is a defensive midfielder, utter tosh. He hasn’t the power and bite to be a 4 or 6.
No one’s fault …. MacAllister is world class, Caicedo excellent as a destroyer. Dahoud and Baleba are patently several levels below that. Even the...
Many eg R5 Monday Night Football club, not just nsc’ers, said he was THE best left-back there is a few months ago. Hasn’t got to those levels since the injury.
