But Veltman very rarely lets us down, a brilliant defender and team player (CB’s and RW can rely on him). We need someone of that quality at least.

I know what you mean, I think you’re correct. But on the left he plays a proper LB. I think of Gross or Milner at RB as RDZ improvising for the moment, not his ideal RB.

Veltman would be a start.
