    I'm greedy, I'd love to see a 40,000 stadium with a large north stand. Sussex in total has a population of 1.7m. Carrow Road has a capacity of 26,000, which they fill most seasons, in a county of just 859k. But it would be TB's money and construction costs have doubled, plus Falmer Station...

    it's only going to get greater eg Liverpool, Everton, Newcastle and Villa constructing or proposing huge new stands/stadia.

    This. There are always significant gaps at the Amex (and no doubt elsewhere) at games until the first full week of Sept. Debated to death on nsc every year. Newcastle was a surprisingly nearly full Amex, Leeds is looking good too.
