    [Albion] Premier League 14-16 / 9 / 19

Headmaster Mike Dean at the forefront of events this evening, whistling incessantly.

Lovely to hear that. A great finish yesterday, and his pace throughout made life uncomfortable for the Burnley defence.

What did they say about us? (I didn’t watch MOTD)

I even envisaged Connolly being put through to make it 2-0. I had a very similar time remaining/score scale to yours in the Poyet/Garcia/Hyppia Amex years. It was hard to shake off those fears until CH started delivering win after win.

I haven’t seen a home PL win in 2019 ... I couldn’t go to the Hudd match. I naively thought the three points were ‘in the bag’ yesterday.

Last season we stunk the division out, we were shite, obviously along with Cardiff and the other 2. If Cardiff had pipped us, no Albion fan would’ve denied that we deserved Championship football. I know what you mean. In 2017/18 it was a relief to see Stoke, Swansea and WBA be so inept...

Watford were threatening top 6 last season, now they are bottom. Too early to worry about things are going marvellously for everyone else (they’re not), whilst the Albion are stinking out the division (they’re not). If Propper had stayed in a defensive position yesterday to stop the...

What's the chronic issue with the Toffees? The best part of £0.5B spent on players in recent years, putting them in the same league as Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs, yet they're just PL also-ran's.

Brilliant organisation by the Norwich manager - a wall of bodies denying ManC the freedom others give them, with a threat at the other end. Never over committing. Clever.

Going by BBS and Holmesdale in recent seasons, CP fans absolutely detest Spuds. This must’ve been almost as painful as last season’s: Albion 6 points in the M23 derby. CP zero :(:ffsparr:

They’re making the obvious complicated. The rationale to NOT undermine the integrity of these ‘amazing’ refs by overruling their no pen decisions.

Walton wouldn’t commit, a pathetic fence sitter, protecting his own. I prefer the outspokenness of other former refs such as Poll and Hackett.

BT’s former ref said that because it was “a subjective call”, VAR couldn’t override it. It was blatant foul anywhere else on the pitch by the NUFC player. What a joke of a system.
