They won’t all become PL successes, no club achieves that with transferred in players. We’ll find out under GP which ones rise to the challenge and which players don’t cut it.

If GP finds a first 11 that produces and Propper doesn’t feature in it, as an Albion fan foremost I’d be happy with that. I wouldn’t gauge GP adversely on joining CH in not being able to turn Propper into a consistent PL performer. Time will tell.

I was replying to post #228 where someone very specifically said “I doubt Ajax can afford to offer Propper much of a pay rise in the Dutch league.” They now have the finances to afford it, based on what Hans Kraay said about the sales this summer, but also their very financially rewarding CL run.
