Genuine questions - is he good enough to lead the line for 38 PL games next season as a starter, will he score enough goals to keep us up, has he got the aireal ability to win balls played up when against towering PL centre halves?

It’s true, CH admitted exactly that.

CH admitted in his Radio Sussex interview that we didn’t play until about 65 minutes. The Telegraph described it as we “woke from our slumber” at that point.

But our centre midfield at PL level is often crap. You can’t make a silk purse out of slow paced players lacking instinctive creativity.

JC and WA covered this very point post match, saying that we’re a quiet team lacking vocal leaders to drive the team on.

If that’s the case, no wonder we very rarely win and are in the relegation mire.
