[Football] Glenn Murray on his route to the top

It would only work if the Mods moved all posts there, which include little buried digs. For example a fairly positive post might also contain “But he’ll always be damaged in my eyes for walking out to go to Palace”.

All's well now, it's great Muzza came back to get us promoted and then to stay in the PL.:)

Benteke £32m Sorloth £9m (to £16.5m) Wickham £9m When they could've kept Murray for free. Pardew and Bright need shooting.

Good post. Gus refused GM a pay rise fron £3,250 to £6,000 pw (but he later blamed the club). Our 2011/12 payroll contained players on are far greater money than that such as CMS, Buckley, Vicente. With many others such as Barnes on far lower money than the figures you mention.

Which other clubs do we know made offers of a contract? Were they prepared to pay the (deserved) money he got from Palace?

They hate Pardew/Parish for that. In the knowledge that Glenn was pushed out, surplus to requirements apparently.

This, in both his Albion spells. I always took his quiet nature as simply shyness. Fantastic to see his new found personal confidence. An Albion great.
