I was in the NS. There was a “WTF” was Propper was announced, followed by a spontaneous Solly chant from loads.

He was also brilliant against CP in the last match, owning the diver who’d given plenty of other PL defences problems. MOTM again IMO.

Solly was outstanding today in defence and attack, MOTM by a long way (match sponsors ... wtf). Love him, so proud that he comes from Sussex. PL class.

Nailed. Solly knows his limitations, and you get the impression through his progress this season over last, that he’s working his socks off to improve markedly. For example, he was immense against CP’s diving expert, possibly making him MOTM.

Absolutely this. In the modern game, it’s hard for a team to carry one or two players doing all of; not always putting in a shift, not tracking back every time, arguing with officials, not passing when dribbling isn’t on. CH’s faith in Murray, March, Stephens and Gross is spot on.

His fitness levels were incredible. Having to work extra being a man down, he was never beaten for pace, with CP and Albion players flagging.

Very good. Last season SM got just one assist and one goal in 36 PL appearances. Under all our radars, the lad’s really upped his game.
