Where they will get knocked out IMO. Mega spending Everton and Silva desparate to prove they're not an also ran club. CH vindicated, but I know others disagree.

Stains have had 13 PL transfer windows and the best part of £1B in income to get there. Unsurprisingly their squad has greater PL quality depth than ours. Even with that huge financial advantage they finished below us in the PL and barely squeezed past our fringe / new players last night. The...

:fishing: Tot up PL appearances between the two starting 11's, and then you'll get the point. Stains have had 6 plus years to get to this narrow advantage. TB and CH are expertly improving squad quality in a sustainable manner, within PL financial rules. Nowt to moan about.

Ward-Prowse, Yoshida, Davis, Romeu, Bednarek, Stephens and Gabbiadini have starred regularly in Stains PL 11's, and they brought on Austin and Redmond. All very well known names to PL viewers. Despite all that, they only got a late narrow win against our largely reserves. CH managed this well.

You didn't manage to fish subtly and couldn't help yourself. Yoshida, Davis, Romeu, Ward-Prowse, Gabbiadini, and then Redmond and Austin, have a combined PL appearance total in the 100's. The media all said that Hughes went for it with PL class. Great work by CH in giving game time to fringe...

Insults aside. The PL is so fast that players for the 'lesser' teams have to work incredibly hard to get results against teams full of internationals, and so are at great risk of soft tissue injuries. This has been explained by sports doctors. CH is giving our first 11 all the rest it can get.

OR, we outclassed £800m ManU who thought they'd crush us, and caused high flying Liverpool problems. CH played a largely second string team for the Mickey Mouse cup, but still only lost 1-0 against a manager/team who bizarrely treated this tie like the FACup Final.

Until we've spent the £100m's Stains have on a PL level squad (fees and wages), I expect CH will always do this and I don't blame him. Hughesie :wanker: will feel a big man tonight.

TS and Sky got it right then that Stains famous PL stars are better than a second string Albion. That's all. Hughton used this as a run out, and if we won it would've been a bonus. Whereas Hughesie thinks that he's going to win silverware. He won't.

The same on TS with (Chelsea fan) Sam Mattaface on TS - from the start it's been non stop praise of Hughes taking the competition seriously by playing well known PL stars, and how they're outclassing Albion unknowns.

I'm just a southern softie from Brighton, so know very little. I've heard "J Arthur Rank" used for bank, but it has another translation.

Radio commentor said a PL class Stains team are totally dominating an inexperienced Brighton team. "Southampton taking the competition seriously" apparently. I haven't got a live stream up. How's it really?
