[Palace] Are we allowed to say how well the scum have done?

I’m probably a lone Albion voice on here today, but I loved your team’s hatchet job on the rugby team today, sending scummy Stoke back to where they belong. CP were the only team attempting to play proper football on the deck.

[Palace] Are we allowed to say how well the scum have done?

I agree with alot of your post. Hating Albion fans who boasted that Palace were down last October were naive. But any decent manager such as Hughton, Hodgson, Dyche or Allardyce, would have taken the £200m squad to safety. Zaha, Loftus-Cheek, Milivojevic, Cabaye, Townsend, Schlupp, etc etc...

[Palace] Are we allowed to say how well the scum have done?

No doubt. But why the 5 seasons of endless losses and relegation battles when you’ve outspent the entire PL (bar the top 6 and Stains) according to that financial research? You should be top 8 each season. It’s not been happy - non stop civil war on BBS and Holmesdale about Parish, Benteke...

£200m squad edges above £60m squad in April. Wow, standards are set low in Norwood.

Totally agree, for those who naively took it too seriously and thought they were as good as down in October. It was obvious that £100m's of investment would send them up the table. Better players, with match winners = a higher table finish. A fundamental of football.

Wwoy will be there until he retires. They've final found a solid manager. At his age, he won't seek bigger jobs. Don't get your hope up about their demise. Too many match winners, pace and power. Better to be happy as to how we've fared as newbies.

This isn't a miracle by Roy. A few on NSC called this last autumn, and said they'd end mid table. Their relegation was just understandable wishful thinking in these parts. They have the 20th most expensive squad in world football, with huge spending over 10 PL transfer windows, matched by...
