I expect they're all too aware already. The snag is that agents and moving players now hold all the cards. Clubs have to play and pay the game, otherwise they miss out on players and decline.

The opposite for me. It's the playing quality that worries me. We lack top flight quality strikers, RB, RW and a creative CM with pace to burst forward and support the strikers. In short, our squad gives little to worry the opposition when we attack and counter.

Guardiola chooses to work with outfield players who have pace and great engines, able to press the opposition relentlessly from start to finish. The Albion squad in no way possesses a 2 to 11, who are able to do that.

Hudd and Brighton to be playing together next season then ... in the Championship?

It won't go down to the last day for us. In any case, easy pickings for Firmino, Salah, Van Dijk and Mane.

0.6 is the equivalent of LLLLWLLLLW = Sunderland and Boro form last season.

 The weak squad, lacking pace and goals, is the cause. The final couple of months of fixtures pair us with PL powerhouses, with teams far superior to ours. We needed a large points cushion to prevent a drop.
