    Graham Taylor's Villa was 1990. They were pipped on the penultimate weekend by Liverpool who overtook them. I was on holiday in the North West and managed to see a First Division match at Anfield on the key Saturday. In those days you just queued for turnstiles.

    No. I knew a Fulham fan and through him I was able to see some PL games home and away. At Craven Cottage, predictably, it was that half of the away stand meant for home fans ... but in reality dominated by illicit legions from mega clubs like Liverpool and Brighton.
