    Wish I'd been there with 250,000 others. On a hill behind Portslade Old Village, you could hear the set, on a hot night. Shame that health and safety spoilers made that the last huge event.

    The single story brick building to the right up the side street, was the entrance to the original Kings Club. Behind that was an impressive Victorian Floral Market. Around all that was the foundations of long demolished/WW2 bombed buildings, used a public open air pay car park.

    New Order at Portsmouth Guildhall with a car load of mates in about 1983 or 1984. The best gig I've ever been to.

    The Smiths gig at Brighton Poly in about 1984. Have met many Smiths and Morrisey fans since, who wish they too had seen them on an early ish tour.
