I'm not giving up solely because the time out for games is now 3.5 / 4 hours, compared to 2 before. I've done the Amex now for 4 seasons. As explained, my young son lost all interest once the time out for games...
Cancelled our two s/t's this week, after about 7 seasons. My (now) 12 year old son lost all interest once we moved to the Amex - the two hour trip with a short stroll down to the Withdean, became 3.5 / 4 hours with buses / coaches to the Amex, boring him to tears. As did the lack of home goals...
Used to go to a few away games with my son, especially new stadia, special stadia like Anfield and the end of season away games. Made a day or two of it, and saw different parts of England and Wales. Since my son lost interest, I haven't bothered.

For me, I have no complaints over Barber's tenure, especially since the nettte was firmly grasped over Burke's failure and the recognition from Bloom that costly squad investment is very much needed to compete. The price of programmes, teas, cup tickets, etc, would be pushed as high as possible...

Some home wins and good football, needed very soon, could turn this around. Otherwise many new or returned fans, added to the hassle of transport to/from games, will call it quits.
