A lunch time visit to Nathan Outlaw's in Port Issac. Beautiful setting overlooking Tintagal and the sea.

Almost casual dining, loads of families ( thankfully with very well behaved children ). We were seated upstairs with a fantastic view over the habour...
Good for Trollburger ( not that I can see the conversation as I'm not on Facebook ). Decent bloke who works really hard and buys the best ingredients. I would be intrigued to know if people like Jay Rayner pay for their meals that they review though.
So I guess we can now get back to reviewing restaurants now !
Trip yesterday to the Ancient Mariner. Back in normal times this place would be packed but yesterday less than 50% full even with social distancing. You now order your drinks via a QR code but it was dead easy and certainly didn't...
Ever so slightly envious HT. That said the perpsex will be like going back to the bank counters of the 90s ( or indeed Uncle Sams in Hollingbury ). Be interesting the effect it has. I'd accept it though to be able to go to my favourite restaurants.
He has a 'hut' just down from the station in Trafalgar Street. Everything is prepared at his flat. Spent a few months last year delivering veg to him while out of work. Very nice guy .
