I know NSC has many skills but it's a little worrying bomb disposal could be one of them !

But surely if the bomb is big enough to take out say two blocks then just "blowing it up" albeit at a time designated by the authorities then the full force will still be felt ? Ah, a much more logical answer - thank you.

Silly question time !!!! How does a "control explosion" prevent a bomb going off ? Surely you run the risk of the bomb actually ...... well ...... exploding ?
