So finally an answer from the club ( sadly not from Bozza ) - I get some of the points but it still feels somewhat "like it or lump it" rather than true fan engagement ( despite what Insider - or should that be Paul Barber - says ). So I'd still urge people to break the law !!!!!
NSC Ticket...
Precisely. I used the exchange because £34 plus spending money was too much to stretch to. £20 plus spending money is far more realistic. The club will now lose my spending money ( agreed it's probably a small amount in the great scheme of things ) but more importantly, with me going less I'm...
There's an argument that the T&C's of the contract you enter into are unfair thus making the contract null and void. Of course this would need to be tested in court. I know of one person who was banned and only got it overturned after the club looked at the CCTV pictures. They only did this...
I already have in this thread and have on many other forums and I don't get that many crank calls. It's hardly an effort to let it go to VM and ring back if it's someone you wish to speak to.
So, I'll repeat, if anyone has spare tickets for any midweek evening games they want to dispose of then...
Thankfully not ! Well the club can swivel if they think they're really going to stop it. I already have 4 people lined up who will sell me their ticket when they can't make it and I don't know two of them. That's how poorly Barber's plan really works !
Actually the club won't because thankfully there are people still willing to break the "law" - all they've done is make it more difficult for those wanting to get rid of a ticket to find those wanting to buy a ticket.
I really don't think the authorities care that much ( I'm obviously excluding the club from that ). Even Darren Balkham has said the law wasn't designed to stop individuals swapping tickets - it was designed to stop wholesale touting but designed very very badly.
The simple answer is to trash the official Ticket Exchange then. No administrative costs to cover then. And let's be honest it's crap and only kicked in what once or twice ?
You keep hinting but not stating ! Does this "someone" also have the power to encourage the police to stop the "illegal" activity ? If it's not the club why has Bozza not said so ?
Once again I disagree - I buy STH tickets are effectively face value. I won't be buying £34 tickets ( even more so because the club only release cheaper tickets much later on ). So the only revenue the club are losing from me with the NSC ticket exchange in place is my pie and beer money.
I don't blame Bozza at all - he's the one at risk of prosecution. All I want to know is who it was so I know who to direct my complaints to. In the absence of any viable information I can only conclude it's Paul Barber / the club. I'll certainly be making my feelings known especially as, while...
