Agree with this. Investing in support for Murray and Hemed with Gross, Brown (who won't have come cheap, even as a loan) and this lad would seem far more sensible than adding that huge money striker. A new defensive midfield that will cost a few quid and free 3rd keeper and I reckon we're done.

He's lost a bit of weight since his heyday but he'd certainly bring some experience to the back 5
