Not only that, but reportedly, the "tax-free" part of his Saudi wages depends on him working there for something like 2 years. If he quits early, he'll owe £7m in taxes.

If his wages are reasonable? He's reportedly on £700,000/week. He'll be lucky to get a quarter of that back in the EPL.

I'd have to question his commitment. Wasn't he supposed to "grow the game" and help the cause of LQBTQ+ rights in Saudi Arabia? And he's abandoning that already?!? Clearly not the sort of dedicated professional we want.
