The name 'kool sla' is orignally Dutch, but modern coleslaw as we understand it (with mayo) is American, possibly created by Dutch immigrants (or possibly not, no one actually knows). For the record, Dutch supermarkets sell it as "Amerikaanse Coleslaw"...

Am I the only one that has coleslaw on toast for breakfast, almost every day? I am? Oh well, some are born to lead, etc....
