You were saying how tailgating is dangerous, especially at higher speeds. No one has said he was tailgating at higher speeds. And whether he was too close or not isn't a fact, it's open to interpretation.

Tailgating just means to drive to close to the vehicle in front. You could be a little too close, or right up someone's arse. Also it doesn't say that he was tailgating at speed, it may have been that he was close to someone when they were going slower. Again am I the only one who's ever driven...

Do you know what perhaps means? As I said, all I know is that he was speeding. Perhaps there was more, but you can't tell from the report. It seems that most people here have never broken the speed limits, which is very impressive. The downside is that they think a bit of speed is frightening...
