Thank you. This the whole premise of this thread, but you haven't been able to show why such a clause can't be included. Do you think you may have made a mistake?

Does it say anything about not allowing clauses that stop a player playing against their parent club?

You've posted a question so similar to a load of other threads that are the same, that a lot of posters assume you're on a wind up. You say "you cannot write in to an agreement in the football league that a player cannot play against his parent club" and we've asked you to provide a reference...

Well although we've had umpteen posts about Dobbie, this one is slightly different. Interesting. Well his point is fairly clear - you have told us all that you can't put the 'non-playing' clause into the contract, and he's asked you to provide a link to the rules that state that, as it's news...
