Club statements today an insult to fans' intelligence

No, attributing views to people they never expressed tops that poll. Pots and kettles, I'm afraid. If all you're going to do is follow me around the board looking for things to disagree with, I'm sure you'll find them though. Probably takes a bigger man to act on the issue, rather than the axe...

Cut and paste...*note to self, keep swapping Maccabi for Brighton*

Well done, another terrific contribution. At least you weren't making stuff up this time.

Club statements today an insult to fans' intelligence

Well here's an old-fashioned notion. Maybe telling the truth might actually help further down the track, and avoid what we appear to have (again) here which is a situation where expectations and promises can't be met. It might help secure the right candidate and character for the task and budget.

Club statements today an insult to fans' intelligence

I suspect you're probably right in your guess of what actually did happen. What I would have liked is in that meeting someone from the club piped up and said something like: "Look, this is two years in a row, we want to keep these fans with us, how can we in all conscience look at them and give...

Club statements today an insult to fans' intelligence

If all else fails, forget Barber and his 'Premier League Ready' and hark on about Goldstone/Gillingham/Withdean/Archer/Bellotti. Archer and Bellotti may have a lot to answer for. But as far as I am aware they were not involved in meetings with Poyet or Garcia. PS You weren't the only one at...

Club statements today an insult to fans' intelligence

And I am saying to you that not being told the real reason (and there obviously is one), for the second time in 12 months, is a piss-take out of people who fork out so much money to follow the club. Blame? There may be, there may not be. Sometimes things just 'happen'. But in the first instance...

Club statements today an insult to fans' intelligence

I find it staggering that fans who once had a bit about them are how happy to be treated like such mugs.

Club statements today an insult to fans' intelligence

Who else's opinion am I going to give? Just out of interest, what exactly would the club have to do for you to ever criticise them? Change name to the Brighton Eagles? Or would you find a way of rationalising that as well?

Club statements today an insult to fans' intelligence

I am getting sick and tired of the Albion's total disregard, almost disdain and contempt for the fans over yet another huge development today. If you look at the statements of Garcia, Bloom and Barber today they say absolutely nothing about the extent of and real reasons for the disagreement...
