[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

Club could easily have floated the Saturday 3pm KO, 5th Round of the FA CUP tie such that you had the option of buying your own ST seat for as many or as few days as they chose. Seeing as how the vast majority of punters are STH and the previous home round tie was a stupid Monday night televised...

Seat-gate Is Dead. Long Live Pogo-gate!

Doubtless Barber will be super-spinning by now and heartily congratulating himself on his Treat 'Em Mean, Keep 'Em Keen ticket sales policy. Not fooling many on here tho, other than maybe pavlov's lapdog chaileyjem.

Oh PLEASE. You really believe that?

If you're being serious Bozza, you maybe need to push back from the club a bit. IMHO, like. Make the club post directly on to NSC if they've got something to say. Transparency and all that.

This. Club appears to be wilfully sabotaging adding 5,000 minimum to the gate just so they can try and fill 500 seats that nobody wants to sit in. Ridiculous state of affairs.

Fair play for trying with the 2pm thing. But the club knows better. :nono:

[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

Club patently has it's own agenda on this one that it's not going to share with us, the great unwashed, and the only people who keep this club in existence. Oh well.

Get INTO them! (Fvck 'em up!)

Seriously though, is this the lengths we have to go to, to prevent the club acting like tinpot dickheads? Assuming one of the FA Cup finalists will be pre-booked for the Champions League, then we're THREE games away from playing competitively in Europe. That's got to be amazing for even the most...

Thank you very much. I shall endeavour to use it more often. In fact, when referring to chaileyjem, I may well expand it to pavlov's lapdog. Woof woof!

In your pavlovian rush to defend all things club, you failed to read my post. I was talking about the lower tiers, not the WSU. I also added the caviat 'in my experience' and conceded that 'things might have improved recently'. Jeez!

[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

I used to think like that. Tried out both ESL and WSL for various friendlies and beambacks. I found that on each occasion I was totally unable to buy a beer due to wretchedly long slow queues at the kiosks. Things might have improved recently, but in my experience although the seats are good...

i don't think there's currently any way of telling whether the club have gauged this right or not. I'd wager there are thousands who are holding back because they don't fancy sitting in the dead zones of the lower tiers. If they hadn't opened the North, I'd certainly count myself among that number.

Maybe a poll would be helpful in indicating to the club how many people would go if the upper tiers were put on sale.
