For sure, talk of pedestrianising one of the town's main shopping streets is just crazy talk. How could that ever work? Who on earth would want a pleasant shopping area to stroll around in the middle of town? :shrug:
The same was said about Embassy Court at one time not that long ago, and that scrubbed up well. Has to be said though that New England House might prove a tad more of a challenge. Never Say Never tho eh?

Depends if the Greens have the balls to pedestrianise or not. At the moment its all shoppers pinned on narrow pavements and a very wide road where traffic appears to very much have priority.
