Happy to report that Bridesmaids is a HOOT! OK, so its a first and foremost a chick flick as you might expect, but there's some big fat belly laughs in there for the blokes that get dragged along also. Recommended. 7/10

Really looking forward to the DVD. Bought the book for a fiver on impulse from HMV in the week, and- WOW!!! Subsequently seen the trailer, missed the movie release but will be first in line for the vid. Soundtrack sounds quality also.

Agree. Its not laugh-out-loud funny, and all the characters are curiously unlikeable. Oh, and Alex Turner's soundtrack isn't all that. But put 'em all together and it works somehow. Cute.

Looking forward to Submarine at the DoY at the weekend - yay!
