Yes, there have been cases of priests and ministers molesting children, but I can't remember a case where a Sunday school teacher was jailed for it.
So if Hillian was one of the 5 not forced to go, that means his brother did go. So therefore his brother will know more about Sunday school, than Hillian who didn't go.

I couldn't agree more, but how would they make a choice, if they didn't know anything about it? As shown on Nsc, teaching about religion can work both ways, where many posters who went, rejected it.
So having given your opinion, why are you seeking affirmation from Nsc? Are you not secure in your opinion?
Btw, Moshe is right. Over 90% of child abusers are within a child's family not strangers, teachers etc.
All churches have young children's work, not necessarily called Sunday school...
