I agree and pushchairs, which were what we had in those days, were made to be folded. I believe the modern buggies cannot be folded, which is why the mother refused to get off the bus. She had already paid her fare, so I can see the driver's dilemma.
And the two disabled commuters in Seaford were last year, & nothing to do with the strikes, but everything to do with SASTA's incompetence in running a railway.
On the tv debate, last week, Cash tried to push Horton on this very statement, and in the end, he said the majority of trains. The audience just laughed at him. It's pretty disgusting imo.

Seaford hasn't had a train service for nearly a year. The replacement bus service cannot take wheelchairs, and trying to arrange a taxi proved problematic for at least two disabled commuters. The person on the other end of the phone didn't have a clue.
