When you buy a house, it usually goes up in value. When you buy a football stadium, it depreciates. The stadium has gone down in value by 5 million pound in the year you are talking about. That is counted as a £5 million loss in the accounts...
We are not overspending taking into account the losses allowed in FFP. Some losses don't count for FFP which has been explained several times in this thread already.
I don't know much about accounts, but I do read others who do. There is no reason for them to lie. There are several qualified accountants who post here and a specialist expert, who can explain the accounts.

'El whatever his name is', lectures on football finances and is regularly on radio, and tv talking about it. He, on this forum, knows more about it than the rest of us put together.
