    There was a rule that 7 first team players had to be in the team, so your statement is incorrect. Our youngster have their own league, and cup competition so why do they need another one?

    It's because I remember the poverty line, that I think the Academy teams shouldn't be in this. The richer clubs will be taking money away from the poorer clubs.

    Do you really think that a large crowd will turn up to watch Man Utd kids? Besides, there is the FA Youth Cup for that sort of crowd like our kids did in 2006. A League 1 or League 2 team going to Wembley is a marketing opportunity, not playing on a Tuesday night in Lancing.
