My Grandfather was in WW1 in the Army Service Corps. It was my Dad who served on HMS Hood, but from 37-39. He was on HMS Vanoc when the Hood sunk.- Thunder Bolt

My Dad joined the Navy aged 15, served on HMS Hood from 37-39, did Atlantic & Arctic convoys, was there offshore at D Day, involved in the Suez crisis, and finally got demobbed in 1968.- Thunder Bolt
