    The trains come in to Lewes, on the same line, merging about a mile outside, so the timings and signals would have been out.

    We very rarely have problems from Newhaven. The problem is that when there is a problem on that line, it snarls up everything as Seaford only uses one platform, so any delay has a knock on effect. On an evening game, we travel in by train, but going home, we've found it easier to catch the train...

    I tweeted the transport manager at 18.50 to let him know there was a problem with trains from Seaford, and he replied 'I'm told they're running ok. I'll chase and get back' (which he didn't)

    The 18.00 and 18.46 were cancelled due to a passenger falling and breaking their leg. We managed to get on the 18.30 which was 8 minutes late.
