    I googled it. Hippo's mainly reside in fresh water such as rivers and lakes, but can also be found living in estuaries where fresh water and salt water mix. Hippo's have also been known to swim into the sea and swim up and down the coast but this is not a common occurrence So an odd hippo now...

    Exactly. The Salt Water Crocodile lives in Southeast Asia and northern Australia. The Hippo fans are trying to discredit it by showing softy African crocs.
