Have seen somewhere that she has supported Haiku...
Highly recommend this, released in March this year:
Ray Bradbury's 1950 post apocalyptic short story "There will be Soft Rains" from his Martian Chronicles collection is given a soundtrack using Leonard Nimoy's 1975 spoken word narration. Gets more unsettling with each listen.
I'm really liking Seconds at the moment, very post punk. Current release is a split with Joya, who are absolutely pants. Listen to the first half, ignore the second.
Shopping have a new album out in September i think. For those who still miss Delta 5 and the Au Pairs
Released today though I've had my pre-ordered copy since Saturday. Very good though the spoken word track which appears to be set in a massage parlour complete with sound effects may polarise opinion.
I really like this at the moment,

From the album, The Silence, it is the soundtrack from a short science fiction film of the same name which is designed to be played live whilst the film is running. This has been up on Spotify since 2014 but is getting a physical release this...
I actually think it is a better album as a whole than their first which had a number of strong tracks but were a bit repetitive with the weaker ones. There are a few duds though, E.V.A does sound like PSB by numbers, however, Gagarin, The Other Side and Go! are excellent, plus they avoid using...
Lonelady - Hinterland out on 23 March.
Two singles released so far, Bunkerpop and Groove it out, the former is probably my favourite song of the year so far.

Melody's Echo Chamber have a new album out sometime this year. This single surfaced last October but then disappeared for a while but has since reappeared. Production by him out of Tame Impala who I think is still her boyfriend, judging by this the psychedelia seems to have got a...
At least they are sticking to a single subject for this one which is probably the best thing they can do given their limitations - worked brilliantly on War Room EP less so on the pick andmix first album.
A new year, a new thread, following on from Albums Thread 2014.
Some of these have been mentioned in the previous thread but they are due soon
Belle & Sebastian - Girls in Peacetime want to Dance (out January 19th)
