I've just read that since Roy's appointment, Palace haven't lost a league match to a bottom half team. What a magnificent achievement.
I very much enjoyed watching them slip down to where they belong. As the game progressed their true nature began to show with horrid tackles flying in all over...
I'm hoping that as Palace are 5th in the 2018 league table they'll just hand us a European place.
If only we'd had the luck Brighton have had with injuries all season :nono:
You were saying?
We had an unimaginably severe injury crisis for a couple of months in the middle of the season. I've never seen anything like it at Palace. It's a massively impressive job that Roy has done to keep such a stricken side in the league so comfortably.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
I've just seen on Twitter that Palace have only lost 1 of their last 19 games against sides outside the top 6 in the Premier League. Bloody impressive.
I was expecting a top half finish. Maybe top 8 with a bit of luck. I certainly didn't expect to have 12 first team players out injured at the same time. 11th place is a miracle and a phenomenal job from Roy and the players considering how unlucky we've been.
Watch the video; 43 seconds in.
He's being clearly fouled and dragged back in the leadup to this, could easily have gone down but deliberately tries to stay on his feet. He then attempts to get around the two players and falls over. It's not a penalty and it's not a dive, hence why he doesn't...
Why would you mention the colour of his skin? This isn't the first time you've done this.
Either way, those aren't the only two options. The actual case is that he's a player who likely has the quickest feet in the Premier League which leads him to be fouled very often. Most defenders simply...
The first half "dive"? Strange, I could've sworn that shirt pulling in the box was considered a foul. This was yet another game where Zaha's Palace side should have been awarded two penalties and yet recieved none. If VAR comes in, expect Palace to score an extra 10 goals per season.
Because as we all know, referees never ever make mistakes like Mr. Kavanagh did last week. Mariappa even said that he'd definitely fouled Wilf in the box and that it should've been a penalty. :ffsparr:
I find it very odd that for such a prolific diver, no footage of him actually diving exists anywhere on the internet. If you can find some footage of Zaha going down without any contact being made, I'd love to see it.
Until then, the only thing we can say for certain is that he's a...
Leicester performed a miracle and are likely the only surprise package we'll see really threaten the big boys for another decade at least. I don't think it's unreasonable, however, to suggest that we could emulate Burnley's season and finish 7th/8th with a little bit of luck on the injury front...
Losing twelve first team players to impact injuries for a period of several months is not self-inflicted. It's true that the De Boer appointment was a disaster, but things might well have been different had Zaha not suffered a long term injury less than half way through his first game in charge...
