If Chelsea or Arsenal wanted him why aren't they in for him? All the early rumours suggested 'the deal is complicated'. Maybe that meant 'Brighton have agreed terms with the player but want/need to move a few players on'.
Welbeck shouldn't have anymore goals because he simply doesn't get that many goals. He has a bang average conversion rate and always has. But his all round play and influence on and off the field is exceptional, and that is why we signed him.
I do think our squad is way too big. Man City played 60 something games and only 21 members of the squad started 5 or more matches. We don't need 30+ players.
